Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using JSONKit at jsonkit.in, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all visitors and users of the service.
Service Description
JSONKit provides a free suite of 77 browser-based developer tools organized into seven categories:
- •JSON Tools — Format, validate, minify, diff, fix, flatten, merge, sort, filter, analyze, and query JSON data. Validate against JSON Schemas.
- •Converters — Convert between JSON, YAML, CSV, XML, TOML, SQL, Markdown, HTML tables, and JSON Lines (NDJSON). Includes CSV to SQL.
- •Code Generators — Generate typed code from JSON in TypeScript, Go, Rust, Python, Kotlin, Java, C#, Swift, Dart, Zod, Mongoose, and JSON Schema.
- •Developer Tools — jq playground, JSON explorer and diagram views, API request playground, embeddable JSON viewer, JWT builder and decoder, cron parser, Base64, hash and UUID generators, regex tester, cURL to code, string case, URL parsing, color conversion, and more.
- •Formatters & Preview — Beautify or minify SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; preview Markdown and Mermaid diagrams; convert HTML to JSX.
- •Generators & Sharing — Generate QR codes and turn code or JSON into a shareable screenshot image.
- •AI-Powered Tools — Optional AI assistants for JSON, regex, SQL, mock data, and cron schedules — see the “AI Features” section below.
Nearly all tools process data entirely within your browser — no JSON data, tokens, or files are transmitted to or stored on JSONKit's servers. The one exception is the optional AI-powered tools described in the “AI Features” section below, which send the text you submit to our server, which forwards it to a third-party AI provider.
Access and Eligibility
JSONKit's tools are available to anyone with a compatible web browser. No account, registration, or payment is required to use any tool. We reserve the right to introduce optional features in the future; all existing free tools will remain accessible.
Acceptable Use
You may use JSONKit for any lawful purpose. You agree not to:
- ✗Use the service for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
- ✗Attempt to overload, attack, or disrupt the service or its hosting infrastructure
- ✗Use automated scripts to scrape, crawl, or harvest content from JSONKit
- ✗Attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent any security feature
- ✗Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us
- ✗Redistribute or resell JSONKit as a standalone commercial product without written permission
Your Data
You retain full ownership and all rights to any data you process using JSONKit. We do not claim any ownership over your data. As described in our Privacy Policy, all tool processing happens in your browser and your data is never transmitted to our servers.
AI Features
Some JSONKit tools are AI-powered — the AI JSON Assistant, AI Regex Generator, AI SQL Generator, AI Mock Data Generator and AI Cron Generator. Unlike our other tools, these send the text you submit to a third-party AI provider to generate a response. By using an AI tool you acknowledge and agree that:
- •The input you submit is transmitted to and processed by a third-party AI provider under that provider's own terms.
- •AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purpose — you must review and verify it before use, especially generated SQL, regex, or other code.
- •You will not submit passwords, API keys, secrets, personal data, or confidential information into any AI tool.
- •JSONKit does not store your AI prompts or responses, and is not liable for any AI-generated output or for the third-party provider's handling of your input.
Using AI features is entirely optional, and every AI tool is clearly labelled. See our Privacy Policy for how AI input is handled.
No Warranty
JSONKit is provided "as-is" and "as-available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- •The service will be available at all times or without interruption
- •The output of any tool is error-free or suitable for any particular purpose
- •The service is free of bugs, security vulnerabilities, or other defects
Always verify tool output before using it in production systems or any context where errors could have significant consequences.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, JSONKit and its creators, operators, and contributors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service — including but not limited to data loss, system failures, or errors in tool output.
JSONKit is a free service. No fees are charged for use of the tools.
Intellectual Property
The JSONKit name, logo, design, and source code are owned by the JSONKit team. You may not copy, rebrand, or redistribute the JSONKit interface as your own product without explicit written permission.
You retain all intellectual property rights to any data you process through our tools.
Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes through the website.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of JSONKit after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from the use of JSONKit will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India.
